A missionary's job is a beautiful reflection of God's redeeming love..

The earth is dark, but we, God's people, are little candles who share his light with the rest of the world so that we can illuminate it with his love. We are the Howells, and we are missionaries attempting to share a little of the light that God has blessed us with Cambodia.

The plan is for us to start a Seventh-Day Adventist boarding school and by doing that we will be able to reach out to the local community and share Gods love.

Cambodia is a small country located in Southeast Asia.

Cambodia has a population of almost 16 million people and about 95% of them are Buddhists. The other 5 is split between 6 other religions, Christianity being one of them. Out of the almost 16 million people there are approximately 3,589 Seventh-Day Adventists. The need for Missionaries is urgent.

Many of our young people in the Cambodian Adventist church do not have the option of attending an Adventist high school with a Christ-centered environment. This school will give them the opportunity to see Christian principles at work on a daily basis and will have a huge impact on many lives. We are working together with the church leadership in Cambodia to establish the academy; in fact, building a school was an idea they developed in a strategic planning session in 2015.
